    Today is Day 20 of SEptember. Up for the challenge today is my 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher .

    The Proraso Sandalwood face-lathered well with Jayaruh #18 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Thank you, Gary. 322 is my all-time favorite fragrance, and there's no denying the stellar performance of CB's Luxury Cream base.

    Vespers Sunday
    This was my first use of Proraso Blue, and it burns and makes my skin red! I guess the star anise scent is similar to cinnamon, which also irritates my skin. I washed it off and went ahead with the shave. Vespers is among my favorite scents. The 18.21 hair paste has a great scent, too, and it provides light hold and low shine.

    Anyone want a once used jar of Proraso Blue?

    Bummer about the burning. I have had similar experiences with soaps which contain cinnamon. Best to get rid of it.
