Thanks, Gary. I live out in the woods in East Texas. Most people think of "piney woods" when East Texas is mentioned. However, it should be mentioned that pine is actually invasive to the region. We live in a relatively untouched area, where the only real coniferous trees are cedar, of which there are plenty. But primarily, we have deciduous trees (oak, tupelo, sweet gum, etc.). We have lots of evergreen wild bay (aka wax leaf myrtle). That along with the cedar, allows us to hold onto some green, but otherwise, when the weather cools off, it looks fairly dreary, but I very much like it. Bottom line, it's beautiful year-round out here.

None. We're too far inland for hurricanes to bother us with much more than rain and the occasional tornado spin-up, but then tornados are always a threat (typically in the Spring) regardless of hurricanes.

Sunday Schick Shave, Sept 20th 2020- A Nivea shave day also, good products.

Razor: Schick i2 injector type with hydro magic- MFG 1954-57 A very good milder Schick injector, not as mild as some later models but gives a very DFS+.
Blade: Personna injector (6)- excellent blade in this razor, very sharp, good longevity & smooths out nicely as more shaves are applied to blade IMO.
Soap: Nivea sensitive cream- nice mild scented soap with good lather qualities.
Brush: Razorock Noir 400 24mm synthetic- reminds me of a boar brush but with soft tips to paint lather, great brush.
Pre shave: Shower, brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Nivea refreshing aftershave + Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG]great shave with my Schick injector i2 type + Personna blade.

Shake Sharp mk1.5, Bic Chrome Platinum, shave 5
    [IMG]

This time I used a shim to stiffen the blade, blade first the shim on top. This razor like the mk2 shimmed is all business and becomes very efficient and non chatty unlike without a shim. Frankly I don't know if there is much difference between the mk1.5 and mk2 Shake Sharps when shimmed even though each has a vastly different amount of blade exposure. End result a BBS finished achieved.

    P & B Pall Mall
    Schick N3- Golden 500
    Schick S/S-Chick [ 4 ]
    Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

This Razor is probably on the mild side, but delivers a very nice smooth Shave and can be without causing any problems, be coaxed in delivering an excellent close finish.

    Jayaruh #415, first lather
    Burham Safety Razor, first shave
    Vintage Burham SE
    CWR
    Osage Rub

Today is Day 21 of SEptember. Up for the challenge today is my new to me Burham Safety Razor.

The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #415 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Burham Safety Razor with a Vintage Burham SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    RR Syn.22mm
    Cyril Salter Solid Soap
    PAL S/S Adjustable
    Schick S/S single=Japan [ 1 ]
    Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion

This PAL has for along time been my favourite Injector confined to the use of a single blade, though my Canadian E2 is giving it some competition. I am beginning to notice that overall Injector Shave Time is quite a bit longer than that of The AC/SE that I have come to like. But they are not every bodys cup of tea and Injectors like this PAL deliver a great Shave.
