good morning gents, fine menthol monday shave this morning with an early british new LC,built for the french market.most of the french market new LC's were sent from the U.S.so this is a rare piece as the brits had transformed to the new rfb type razor in the early 30s.most of the nickel is worn off and has an early #148 thin cap.rare as well and it shaves a little differently..
fine proraso green lather built by the tuxedo ,bbs in 2+ smooth passes.no drama.green aftershave to finish.awesome..have a fine day everyone..

E3's give excellent shaves, Jason! I also think they are not given the proper respect as shavers. I was not interested in it as prize in last year's Father's Day raffle that I picked something else. I won a second time, but it was toward the end of the raffle that there weren't decent items left. So begrudgingly, I picked the Schick E3. To say the least, it was a pleasant surprise because it is my best headshaver.

Beautiful shave Joe. Would the scent of this soap be along the line of Chatillon Lux's YRP?

No question. What Evan @MrEE is doing these days is very unique.
Yup. I use the one in my office quite begrudgingly. I have a filter for it where I can pour my regular coffees in it, and it makes it more than passable.
Yup. We have a Presto perc out at the lake. Fantastic coffee maker. About $100 Cdn, and worth every penny.
The Duke sounds interesting. The Stirling Aggressive head as well... a very unique Stirling Sept shave, Bill.
Another unique razor, Pierpaolo. Is it metal? Plastic? Didn't know Dorco made a shaver.
Outstanding, Jim. My same razor simply doesn't look that nice...That brush is perhaps my favourite vintage shape- even ahead of the 400, and I never thought I would say that.
Looks great, Joe. Some very unique software as well. Sounds like you are recommending both the soap and splash.
Love the pic in your hand, Daniel. You still have that Old Type? Getting good shaves from it?
A great review of the soap, Joseph. For some reason, I've never grabbed a Tallow & Steel product. I may have to rectify that soon.
Never tire of seeing nice gear, Bruce. Congrats on finishing the sample- I have a bunch I need to get through as well. The Stirling samples take forever sometimes...
A fantastic looking Menthol Monday shave, Gary. Such a unique NEW as well...has the dock fire ended yet?

Thanks, Joe. I have owned four different Schick Injectors over the years (E,G,I) and all are great shavers.

Excellent shave Bruce. I am in the same boat or pickle, depending on what you want to call it, as far as being intrigued by other soaps but must refrain until I go through a few more in the den.

Most excellent shave Jason. The soap does sound interesting. Epic on the @Keithmax scale, you can't get better than that.

Jason, I have used a few Blackship Grooming samples during the past three years. The soaps performance is top notch. I get great lathers and a nice face feel upon completion. The Libertalia, I obtained from an artisan in Italy. Currently, 7 hours post shave, I am still getting subtle whiffs of the scent. The one drawback is the shipping cost from Italy.

Thanks Jason. Of course i have it! It shaves well, probably the best open comb razor i've ever used. I think there might be a few slightly bent teeth, but it doesn't affect the result, even though the other side feels a bit different.
I will probably do a focus with it next month.

Thank you Gary....When done "right" Central Texas Soaps gives you a pretty decent shave. A reviewer of one of the brands called it a "Stoylin Rip-off!. Course he didn't say "Stoylin", but you know what I mean :).
