Shave of the Week Starting 9/21/2020

    Baili BD179 razor
Gillette 7 O'clock blade (black one)
    JR #85 brush
    Viking Citron SS
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Pinaud Lime Sec EdC

First go with a Gillette black blade and it was nice. Smooth, comfortable and did a fine job. Also happy with the Baili razor. It doesn't seem to get a lot of love but is a nice shaver (at least for me). My face is smooth and happy. Now go enjoy y0ur day folks.

I'll have to take a closer look . I'm so taken with the twin blade Mk1.0 I rarely reach for the Mk2.

Lovely shave with the Wonderedge - maybe the best it’s given me. :happy036:

Gillette: Super Speed Black tip (X3) 1952.
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (5)
Brush: Oscar 11 Multi Colored handle w/ TGN Premium Silvertip
    Soap: Reef Point Admiralty
    Aftershave: Floid Blue
    Bowl: Junichi Tanaka Astisaral Pedestal

Another Oscar 11 brush. This is another work of art in my opinion. TGN Premium Silvertip is meant for this handle. Whipped up an amazing lather for a very comfortable close shave.
Reef Point Soap Admiralty is performing excellent as expected.

I think the mk1.5 is better than the 2.0 without a shim. Shimmed they are fairly close.

My Mk1.0 with two blades seems more rigid than either the 1.5 or 2.0 so equipped. That's why I use it almost exclusively.

Great face shave. A&E is becoming my favorite artisan. The scents they make are incredible. Plus the soap is a top performer in all categories. [IMG]

I'm trying out a 7th Shave on the Spoiler blade. Last shave came out great, which is uncommon for this vampire bloodbath ABC razor. Seems that angle and very light pressure are required. I have come to respect this razor that a great shave is not given, but earned with technique and courage. And I have to say that I really love what PAA accomplished with their hard work to get a fantastic approximation to Creed's scent with their "Gold Label". I didn't think it would be possible, but PAA's version smells fantastic. The rose, light eucalyptus, gin and touch of lime. This is one of my favorite niche fragrances and PAA more than did it justice. I highly recommend it.
