With everyone staying inside with this quarantine, People haven't really been outside enough to expose themselves to germs, I kinda figure when people do come in contact with these cold and flu viruses it's gonna shock their bodies. that's just my input/opinion on that though. gotta have your body exposed to some germs sometimes It'll make your immune system stronger.

Thanks Joe...I'm gradually bringing out the cold-weather gear(course Aqua Velva isn't that, but it's a nice compliment to the Down At The River soap.)

Are you guys still in lockdown? In NY, we can go anywhere we want , however facemasks must be worn in stores, restaurants and gyms, etc. Gyms and restaurants have capacity restrictions. It will soon be over.

Good morning, Paul. According to a review I located...

The aroma of the soap is perfumery and is a replica of the famous Ambre toilet water from Baldessarini. It belongs to the oriental woody group. When shaving, the intensity of the aroma is medium, so there is no discomfort. If you do not use after-shave products, then the aroma is felt on the skin for no more than an hour.

You and the reviewer share common interests, but I don't think they have Piggly Wiggly in Russia. :)

After shaving, the skin did not dry out and did not shrink. In principle, it was possible to do without an after-shave product, but I did not want to deny myself the pleasure. Therefore, the periodic used emulsion "Casanova".

If you'd like to try the soap, I'd be glad to send it your way. If you don't like it, I'd just ask you to pass it along to someone else. (No tossing it into the trash allowed. :) )

We are out of our lock down, however certain places require masks, like Walmart for an example. My gym does not require people to wear masks, I'm sure other gyms do though. The thing about masks, though IMHO they are good for protection against corona, but your also preventing exposure to other germs, germs that you need to build your immune system. I usually wear a mask when going grocery shopping and stuff like that, but when going to the gym I don't wear one, However I do socially distance. same goes for PT at the Marine Corps office.

    Good morning guys!

    Straight Razor Shave #210
Wostenholm 5/8 Full Hollow Sq Pt
    Omega Pro 49 Boar Brush
    Stirling Piacenza SS
    Stirling Satsuma AS

Beautiful, thick creamy lather was made this morning. This boar brush is really the best bargain because it releases the lather and it is very soft. Obviously, using it for close to yrs woukd make it so. 40 hr whiskers were no match for this Wosty. 2.5 passes and touchups gave me an irritation free and bloodless, BBS shave. I have recently changed my radial stroke angle on my lower neck to really get it super smooth. I picked out the wrong aftershave, but Satsuma works well with Piacenza so no biggie. The scent from the aftershave is so awesome. No burn was evident from the splash so it indicates a top notch shave. Have an awesome day guys! 20200922_093148.jpg
