I'd love to see the storage facility for your software. Good grief. :D

Very cool setup, Daniel! The razor handle look very thin. Is it, or does it just look that way in the photo?

You're a man on a mission with that soap, Clint! Getting close to smokin' it yet?
Whenever you get tired of the General, let me know. ;)

Thanks for confirming, Clint. You summarized what little bit of digging I did online. A bit of a shame that the design just died, considering so many people loved it. Maybe Shane should resurrect it....
Then again, no. It would be competing against the Vector. He's a smarter businessman than that.

Oh, wow. I'd say. The Tech handles are fairly thin, and that one is noticeably thinner. Quite a bit longer too. Does it feel awkward to use, or not really?

Actually it's surprisingly comfortable for me. I use my Slim Twists fairly often, those have longer handles too, so maybe i'm just used to it.

Gonna focus on shaving and shaving commentary, lest I get myself in any more hot water.
This, BTW, was a hot water shave...
    I said yesterday
that Blair inspired me to reach for the ASW soap, and indeed he did.
I used to think that Eufros Tobacco was as good as this, but I don't think so anymore.
The tobacco scent of this product is amazing. I have heard it described as the smell,
when you open a fresh pack of Marlboro cigarettes. I don't get that, but I can see where
some might think so. This should not be confused with an ashtray smell. :rolleyes005:
The biggest drawback is the miniscule tin. That could be easily remedied with an aftermarket tub,
I just don't have an extra lying around.
The Duke, however, had no issues loading plenty of soap.
    Once again, I face-lathered...is this a new Primo trend...:signs002:
Last shave with the Feather blade and I should have tossed it after yesterday's shave.
Got a bit of tugging and my neck didn't appreciate the lack of smoothness.
    Still, a DFS++ shave.
The matching juice is equally as aromatic as the soap. Nice alcohol tingle.
Maybe it doesn't have the same skincare qualities of some higher end aftershaves,
and it doesn't. But, the scent is the deciding factor.

Thank you Joseph....and as for yours, the Old Va. looks pretty decent. I'm glad you disagree with the person who likened the smell to that of Marlboro cigarettes. I love the Marlboro music, but....cigarette-tobacco aftershave? Uh, no.

@TSD's coffee connoisseurs....couple more thoughts. We definitely are a like minded group on a many thing!

Test....no search engines! When is National Coffee Day for 2020? Hint: Soon*

French Press and/or Aero Press. Great options. Sometimes the 'mud' in the bottom, but that's ok for me and my oldest daughter, just not wifey (the BCA). Broke our French Press long ago, went the pour over method as a replacement. Never tried the Aero Press.

With any brewing method, correct water temp at the top of the grounds mixed with your favorite coffee grounds & ratio equals awesome caffeine injection.

Another quick method....the Moka pot. Mostly used for expresso, but works for coffee. Opposite flow method, still awesome smooth tasting results. Very fast with the right fire under it (great for camping)! Make sure to get a Moka pot that is solid aluminum, not plated (never plated...they last a few months max in daily use).

Quick check....Good Folks vs. Coffee AM. $60 for 5 pounds of beans at Good Folks, ~$37 for 5 pounds of beans at Coffee AM. All good. Local is cool, however, I'm about to add 2 kids in college, pennies count. Coffee AM also gets free shipping at $70, we hit that with every 2-3 month purchase lately between coffee beans and tea.

On the second plug for Coffee AM, they have awesome loose leaf tea. Their 'Iced Tea Blend', Chai, Earl Grey or 'Temple of Heaven Gunpowder' versions....some of the finest we've ever had. In fact, wifey said to place an order soon...had to resort to Lipton tea bags (bleh) for dinner a couple days ago. My youngest daughter has turned into a tea apprentice, as coffee just a little strong for her. My mother was a tea enthusiast, so that's where my daughter get's it from. Coffee AM....found it via recommendations browsing a couple coffee or tea forums (definitely Coffee/Tea Purists) summer of 2019. For the record, we're just happy Coffee AM customers. No referral or bonus points for mentioning.

Another thing we've looked at, cause the Keurig machines generate so much waste, recyclable K-Cups. SF Bay coffee makes them (or maybe OEMs some of the pieces/parts/ideas from a Canadian company that seems to be leading the research). Haven't tried yet, as the pods still require commercial recycling. Getting there.....but it's still 'weak' coffee once you are used to either BCA or SCA recommendations.

And....rant on. Last time at a S*Bucks. They should be ashamed....about 4 weeks ago I was caught in the middle of Nearly Nowhere Texas, but there was a 'bucks inside the Albertsons just built. Didn't even have COFFEE on the darn menu. Not even Coffee of the Day like they used to. Every menu item was $4+ and up, blended this or that coffee flavored sugar (or sugar free) water. The ladies about flipped that I wanted a black coffee. $3. Barely 16 ounces. Never step foot in that place again.

Coffee on the run? We have gas stations around Texas (even civilized areas of Louisiana) called Quiktrip or RaceTrac. RaceTrac has slowly been migrating to serious coffee machines. They are like Keurig machines, but they have several choices of coffee beans on top, that feed a grinder, that feeds a sophisticated commercialized Keurig. In a pinch, next best thing to home brewed. Here's a photo:
