    The Shavemac knots are pricey. Since I already have a brush with a Shavemac knot, I may do something different with my Danger brush from @MrEE.

    I don't see too many 30 mm boar brushes. It might be fun to try one. What do you guys think?

    very cool.love the big omega boars but they aren't 30mm.they are around 26.. but tall.looking forward..:)

    good morning gentlemen.simple brit shave today..1939 #47 brit popular/platinum combo, or as i like to think the first Aristocrat jr,though it was never named as such.definitely the forerunner. but the war started and the line wouldn't continue until 1947 or so as a safety bar version.fabulous simpson unscented lather well soap flavor but mild,smooth 2+ pass bbs.touch of twisted thayers astringent and burberry brit to finish..have a smashing day everyone..:cool:

    Sure, why not? It's only $13. Set it with silicone, and if you don't like it, you can pull it out and drop something else in there.

    I miswrote.....I meant I could sure use a GIFT card from those companies. Now that we cleared THAT baby up- what's this Wolfman, Varlet, Blackland stuff?

    Loaded in a fresh Gem and had a very nice 3 pass shave with the MMOC earlier this morning. Wife isn't a fan of this scent (perfumy, apparently) but in soap form only can be easily dealt with. The splash will be moved on, I suppose. I was quite close and without incident. Lots of lamenting about the potential loss of CL splashes, but for me these Maol splashes have an equal quality in terms of face feel. 4 hours later and I definitely notice the quality of this splash. Scents aren't anything like CL, but an excellent product.
