Lol, I must say that was pancakes....

 

I think I'll be going back to the Twilight Zone for a bit, things have gotten a bit too weird here.....

 

This reminds me of that time I helped my uncle Jack, off a horse.

 

So... .all week my wife has been impatiently waiting for me to finish my morning routine (shower, shave, brush teeth, put contacts in etc...). She even started to get a bit huffy about having to wait. I have been trying to speed up but I hadn't been able to figure out where I keep losing time. I use to always be out and dressed before her alarm went off. Well while she was in the shower, I took a look at her alarm... Her clock is now set 50 minutes fast instead of its usual 40 minutes fast. Yes, I know... that may be weird, but my wife sleeps in an alternate time zone and firmly believes that her alarm clock needs to be set fast. As a result of the change in her clock, she has been pressuring me to get moving faster and has been annoyed at me. Of course I can't say anything about it without a scene. It isn't worth the argument and it is her birthday. I guess I will just set my alarm to 3:30 now instead of 4.

 

We used to set our clocks 10, 15 minutes ahead. Then in college the realization hit me that it doesn't make any sense, you're still getting up at the same early time, and now your clocks are off - also, while I may be early where ever it is I'm going, it'll be later when I get to leave (if/when I had my watch set ahead)
My wife still does set hers about 5 minutes ahead, but I've never heard of setting them 30, 40 minutes ahead or more. My mind boggleth at the thought.

By the way, circumvented the whole alarm clock thing this morning. She went back to sleep after her shower and was planning on sleeping in until 6, she came out at 5:45 and was confused why the Sports news that she wanted wasn't on yet. Maybe you adjusted your alarm clock?.... Problem now fixed...

but yes, she has always had her own separate time zone for her bedside clock. Started at being 10-15 minutes fast in college and picks up time every now and then. She tends to keep it about 40 minutes fast. Confuses me when I am back there working on something and that is the only clock I can see.

 

:happy102 Tim is hilarious. I even laughed at the Tom Petty joke (Big Tom Petty fan). It just goes to show that you can be funny and clean. Alot of comedians have something to learn from guys like Tim and Brad Stine.

Long slow friday like this I think tonight I'll pick up my lumber supplies and finally build my razor shelf. Good way to end a painful slow day.
