Thank you, Joe! I've tried what you've suggested with tap water. I may give it a go with the distilled. Perhaps I should also check which moon phase is most beneficial for this soap...

It's not supposed to be this difficult, but I don't plan on giving up any time soon. It's the principle of the matter at this point.

My suggestion couldn't hurt. Personally, I wouldn't buy MWF because it is difficult to lather with hard water and the scent is meh at best. There are too many soaps that easily lather and for much less money, namely, Proraso, Stirling, Razorock, etc.

I like you persistence Andrew. Perhaps you will eventually have the lather the way you like it.

Your suggestion is a good one, Joe. I wasn't discounting it.
For now, MWF holds a place in my collection as an ongoing project. I agree there are countless other soaps that are easier to use.

Thanks, Joe. I will continue trying until I use up this puck. At that point, I'll have to ponder if I want to get another.

    Good afternoon guys!

    Shavette shave #204
    Parker SRB
    Rockwell 1/2 DE Blade (2)
    Stirlling Boar Brush
Stirling Coconut Lime SS and AS
    Whisker Growth 31 hrs

I did a 2 pass shave with very little touch up for BBS- shave, but got a weep on the corner of my right mouth. It happened during a one handed fool's pass with my non-dominant hand. I usually use 2 hands, but I like to switch techniques every so often. Obviously, the gear worked very well so I don't need to go into a play-by-play. Finished with the matching aftershave. It was an enjoyable shave. Tomorrow will be a non-shave day. Have a good evening, gents! 20200925_162818.jpg
