Joe, thanks for the offer. Shipping will be about $25, a bit stiff for four shaves.

Back to work on Monday so a safety razor shave it is. Mühle 2011 R41 loaded with Kai (2) was the weapon of choice today. I reached into the soap drawer and decided to give the Oleo a second chance as I like the scent. The Oleo performed better than I remember so I will give a couple more shots at earning it's way onto the rotation. The shave was excellent.

    Good morning, gents!
IMG_20200928_125435_656.jpg One pass goodness with the Tech this morning. Not much to say really, as everything went well.
I kind of want to try a blade sampler again, as it would bring a bit more variety to my shaves. There is still a lot of blades i haven't tried, so it could be fun.

Anyways, have a great day all!

I've saved money on haircuts for years, Joe. I use a clipper with the #1 plate. ;)
A number of years back, I shaved my head on a whim. My wife was at work when I did it. When she got home, we were talking, then she looked up at me an exclaimed "What the f*** did you do?". My response was simply "It's pretty obvious, isn't it?". :D
Nonetheless, she was fine with it, and I kept the noggin shaved for several months. I may do it again sometime. I have a Parker SRX, and I'm comfortable shaving my face with it. I'm not sure if the comfort level is high enough to try it on my head at this point.

Thank you, Joe! Even if it would stain a badger brush, chances are, the staining would disappear over time. Or you can use a synthetic brush.
This sample was sent to me some time ago. I think the scent has faded somewhat. Based solely on this sample - it's a pleasant scent, yet doesn't wow me enough to warrant a full tub purchase.

Yesterday's shave (Sunday) went very well. One of the best shaves in a while actually.
I brought out the Yaqi tuxedo knot brush
Taylor Of Old Bond Street Tobacco Leaf shave soap
    gold 1946-47 Aristocrat.

Built up a great facial lather this time, I think this brush has finally been broken in.
did my typical 3 pass shave, but luckily this time I managed to not get any weepers or nicks and still kept up a super close shave.
Blade of choice: PermaSharp Super stainless.
Finished off the shave with Pinaud Bay rum (this is also a nice aftershave to pair up with the TOBS Tobacco Leaf shave soap)
