Today is Day 28 of SEptember. Up for the challenge today is my Schick M1 Adjustable.

The Kiss My Face Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #414 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick M1 Adjustable razor with a Personna injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Yesterday's shave (Sunday) went very well. One of the best shaves in a while actually.
I brought out the Yaqi tuxedo knot brush
Taylor Of Old Bond Street Tobacco Leaf shave soap
    gold 1946-47 Aristocrat.

Built up a great facial lather this time, I think this brush has finally been broken in.
did my typical 3 pass shave, but luckily this time I managed to not get any weepers or nicks and still kept up a super close shave.
Blade of choice: PermaSharp Super stainless.
Finished off the shave with Pinaud Bay rum (this is also a nice aftershave to pair up with the TOBS Tobacco Leaf shave soap)

If I stated this, could mean a 3 weeks supply! :D

Yesterday, I took out my colder-seasons-soaps and I was ashamed of myself! :(

Some of spring/summer ones, are suitable for autumn/winter as well: but... whan it is too much, it is too much.

And as shameless as you are I keep looking for fragrances I 'miss'... :angry032:
More over I remember I did stick, for many years, by 1 soap, 1 brush and 1 razor...
But, relentlessly, I keep hunting and I do not even know where to put them, by now: some are hidden under others and when I see them I wonder how i could forget them fo such a long time...

    Should see a shrink... :(

    SODT of gifts!

This morning, when I woke up, I tried to pass a multitest with the participation of a soap that has always intrigued me, perhaps more for the labels than for the INCI or scent, given to me by a friend who surprised me with a brush of a historic brand and an AS given me by another friend to help me in the relentless search for something to match an EdT that very much I like it.

Reading what the producer writes on the notes of this soap, I recognize without attenuating any, that my nose is, though beautiful and masculine, unable to perceive what others perceive.
It reminded me of the Scheermonniks...

I rubbed it in my face, and it seemed me quite soft.
It didn't particularly impress me, but I believe that much of this judgement can be attributed both to the way in which the soap was taken, and to the brush, whose lathering properties are far from the softer knots I am used to.

But I like this brush: it has a high backbone, and provides a fantastic massage: somehow it reminds me of some horse hair knots...
And the soap is very lubricant.

To complete the trio, there was the aftershave of @bilos2511 that helped me find what smells like what I'm hunting for.
    Not bad...
But it has nothing to do with it: it is clear that it is not enough to mix two components to get similar results.

Now I am in splendid shape.
That is to say, I am in splendid form as far as I can be...
