The Vulfix Grosvenor 404, bristle & badger brush

that's right, I actually bought a new brush, instead of making one (does not apply to clearanced VDH's or Burma Shaves...)

Can't wait to try it out

ooh. please post a review. I've been interested in boar-badger blend brushes for some time now. I'm curious about how they compare to a pure badger brush (my current stand by).

 

oh, I will, stay tuned...
what sucks, though, is my nose is so stuffed up, I won't be able to judge any scents, like hair funk or anything

after a few shampoo cycles, and a quick lather with MWF, I think I'm going to like the Vulfix 404 boar/badger blend.
It may not replace my favorites, but I can see it easily surpass my Omega boar, and be my go-to soap brush.
Knot is kinda smaller than I expected, but it feels well-constructed.
Only shed a couple of hairs during the 2 shampoo cylces, and 2 test lathers.

It whipped up on that MWF, I tell you what! about 30 swirls, and boy howdy, I can't wait to give this thing a go in a little bit.
I really can't wait for it to really break in and see how it does.

I'll do a formal review after a few uses.
Too bad the camera battery died (which is why the flash is off in the last pictures, to try and finish), it's really starting to bloom now.
About to go shave with it now....

and, I had it beat AGAIN!, but something really screwy happened, the red ball went in the hole, but never showed back up!!!!
The score wasn't as high as last night, but dang it, it's frustrating...I know I should quit now, but it ain't gonna happen, it's bugging me too much

 

that happens to me when firefox pauses. I have to restart my browser occasionally to get rid of it, else it keeps happening more and more
