Thanks, Bruce! Maybe i should use my other bass for tomorrows photo. Actually i haven't! The only Gillette blades i've bought in a larger quantity, are the Gillette Wilkinson Sword and Astra. Tried a few of the others though.

    Thanks Joe, you too!

It all depends on your comfort level. Some are able to do it with little experience and others need a whole lot more. I would say that most people would need 200 face straight shaves under their belt before venturing to head shave effectively with one.

    Grazie, Clint.
    I'm glad you enjoy.
My tastes about razors are very selective.
For me It's a rare event to buy a new razor.
    Thanks, Andrew.

First day of since the start of school with kids, last day of pool availability. Currently, the water temperature is 75 degrees, just warm enough to dive in and get out. After completing some errands I might brave to initial chill.

Today was the seventh shave with the FHS-10 blade in the Valet VC4. I did manage to get a close shave, however, I did feel some pulling. (Stripped the blade prior to the shave). I do not if it really made a difference. For those of you that use the FHS-10 blade, including but not limited to @jgreenepa, approximately how many shaves do you manage with this blade?

Overall, regardless of the pulling, it must have been a super shave since SWMBO commented, “Your face is a smooth as a baby’s butt.”

Now to enjoy the last warm day for awhile. Have a great day gentlemen.
