I have the aftershave, but not the soap. It's pretty nice, all right.

Mid day shave after a very long work day yesterday, insomnia last night.....and a long working morning. Taking the rest of the day off.

    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - AS/ASB/AS&C - Cavendish
    @MrEE Evan's Aluminum handle w/Simpson Trafalgar T2
    Drew Dick 7/8 Damascus

Tobacco Tuesday! Perfection in lathering with Evan's handle loaded with the T2 knot, slick lathering slinging fun between bowl and face lathering. CK-6 formula starts off a little goopy while loading, then slowly turns into yogurty bliss as you hydrate. Excellent face feel for the entire shave, the smooth hydrated feel continues for hours after. Two and a half passes with the colorful Drew Dick straight, no shenanigans to report. No buffing or overshaving, only swipes to remove lather and growth. BBS- as I missed a patch on the lower right neck (arrrrgh). Finished with the PAA's Star Jelly, then their aftershave & cologne, Cavendish. A lovely tobacco vanilla mix, catch whiffs for hours. Similar in fragrance to Stirling's Haverford, but with a hint more vanilla. SWMBO totally approves.

*Halo effect around blade completely unplanned....forgot to wipe the fingerprints off the phone camera lens...:angry032:

Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

I had my "introduction to tobacco soap" with Cavendish from Rte 66(or whatever that company's name was/is). Liked it.

There are many great experiences on the various forums, not just in EU.
For me, they are some of the best I've tried.
    My dermatitis responds very well.
Especially considering they have all the accessories for each fragrance line.
After trying practically the entire production, from birth (2015) to today, I found my favorites in three models:
    1. Indian Flavor
    2. Lavender Deluxe
    3. Gentle Menthol
For me, the pre-shave oil / rasierpaste / aftershave lotion combination is absolutely fantastic.
Both for the technical characteristics and for the perfume.

To understand, think to Stirling ... but without stock problems and with much better quality.

Paul, should we consider this change to be a Throwback Thursday in Theory or something altogether different like Setback Saturday?

Are you Thinking That Thenceforth The Throwback Thursday Theme on our Thriving Thread is Through, Paul? Not to be over Theatrical, but I Theorize That such a Thoughtless Thunderstrike may Thwart The Thrill and possibly even Threaten The Thesis of an otherwise full-Throttle Thursday. Thankfully, Danger.

Pass the cookies, please. Coffee too if @MrDaniel's hasn't emptied the pot already.

You got over-theatrical with this baby, Charlie :). Naaah, sometimes my Thursdays are not Throwback Shaves....thus I move it to Saturday of that week. But the shave, no matter the day, will ALWAYS be called Throwback Thursday....Setback Saturday means the shave will be a stinker...a setback. It's a bit more challenging in the fall&winter to do Throwback shaves, than it is during the spring&summer. Why. More origin research is needed for clarification, unless it's Bay Rum, or, in your&Kathy's case, good ol'Clubman. Spring&Summer, there's always Aqua Velva, Mennen Skin-Bracer,. Y'know, in 2022 Stoylin products qualify for Throwback shaves, thanks to my rule of it must be at least 10 years old. Therefore, let me say that I have nothing to say besides what I just said. :))
