  1. That be it Tom, I'm backlogged on them right now, so I need to git r done!

Hooray for father-son bonding! Gotta love and take advantage of the opportunity when they come along. :happy088
  2. Sounds like a real nice father-son get togheter you had there, Tom :happy088

Those days are really important every now and then ;)
  3. Fixed that for you Tom!
  4. :sihns011 Agreed Rene!
  5. I have two daughters myself, but you can see that they really like it if you spend time with them!

Take them out shopping every now and then............ Even if that means that you have to step into fashion boutiques, that you've never dreamed of :D

And the youngest likes it alot if we play ball together :happy088

That gives "the old man" a change to pick up his catching skills :D
  6. Thanks, you guys. Yes, days like this are super important, especially since he's 21 now. We may not have a lot of days like this available to us any more...

It's funny, but we always end up having kind of unusual philosophical discussions about time and space when we're together. We've done this since he was just a little guy. He's fascinated by theoretical physics, science fiction and the place where the two kind of merge. Now, if I could just convince him to go back to school... ;)
  7. That would be a major achievement :happy102
  8. Oh yeah, daddy-daughter time is just as important! I'm just thankful that as teenagers, mine still like to have bonding time, it means the world to me. :D

Oooo, The old back to school bit, that may be a tough one Tom, and I wish you the best of luck with it! :)
  9. Yessir, daughters are equally important (and a great joy!) when it comes to bonding time. Mine is old (30 :shocked003 )and on her own now...

I guess my parents probably had a lot of stuff they wished they could have convinced me to do when I was a young adult. We've all got to follow our own paths, yes?

I think my path is about to take me to the land of nod. Thanks for the talk, gents! Goodnight...
  10. Goodnight Tom!

Have a great day Rene, I'm outta here too, the last of the updates are installed and it's time for me to get some sleep.

    ... in bed.
  11. Good night, Bill :signs068::mog
  12. agreed. while I certainly enjoyed the movie, the plot, the characters, the special effects, I was VERY impressed with the 3D aspect - that technology has come a LONG way!
  13. umm, Micah...do yourself a favor and DON'T look at today's woot....
  14. No biggie. I'm satisfied with my emachine netbook that I paid less for.

After the penturning demo, I've been searching online all day for information on making 12ยข pens. Being a fan of BIC roundstics and all, not to mention cheap, I'm thinking that it's a much simpler way to get started in pen turning. :o
  15. ahh, my bad, got my numbers confused I guess
  16. scratchy, sore throat. yay. :(

pretty sure this is going to be a miserable week for me. :sick013

    night.
  17. Hope you are wrong JoAnna. :agelic13

    Sleep well!
  18. Another dreadful Monday. At least it's warm outside and not snowing.:D
  19. Indeed another dreadful day

It took me 1,5 hour to drive 10 Miles in a traffic cue, before I decided to leave the other 45 Miles for what it is and returned home to work from there............

a centimeter of snow and all of Holland has gone crazy :D
