    Actually I find the slightly heaver handle gives it a better balance than my '40s Super-Speed. For me the shave is a little more aggressive, but just as smooth as the SS.

    Today is grandparents' day and although I am old enough to be a granddad, I am happy not to be one.
    But that doesn't stop me from wishing those who are, willingly or not.

    The Argentinean Ambassador seems to have offered a work of Quino's to hang on the front door of our Parliament: it seems me to be in line...

    But I was not inspired and, with the darkness, I could not enjoy it.

    The Speick Shaving Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #414 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1905 Gillette Double Ring razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Family Dollar Old Spice. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
