I respect your right to not dig the Musk...
But I feel I have to counter that with a "Aqua Velva Musk" is my favorite after shave to layer with other after shaves...

No matter what I layer it with, my wife digs it...even the Veg...Splash on the Veg and then a splash of AV Musk and it makes even the Veg exceptable to the masses! For some reason..chicks really do dig AV Musk....YMMV!!

it's my least favorite but i don't dislike it.i have too many others i like more.to be honest i don't wear any av scents that often.i wear proraso green or citrus scented aftershaves that blend with my edt's.but you mention layering with it .what a grand idea..will give that a go..

I tried 3 different Aqua Velva's. Musk, ice sport and ice blue.
My favouite is Ice Blue.
The least favouite is Ice Sport.

I've only tried two:

Ice Blue is my favorite AV.

Musk disappointed me a bit at first but I'm trying it some more. It paired nicely with GFT Spanish Leather.

Last week I noticed the Ice Sport at a local pharmacy. It's a great summer scent- citrus, aquatic, and berries. Very light and refreshing.

I've only got the one, Aqua Velva Blue I think, and it's nice and light, quite refreshing but it doesn't last long I find. A lot on here about AV Ice sport, I might just try this one....

AV musk and ice blue is always on my shelf, but AV sport has no place in my home.
