Very cool Joseph. Love the old school metronome. Any history on it & wondering the maker?

I'm with you Joseph, I think it looks pretty :signs021:.

    Good morning, gents!
IMG_20201003_141014_269.jpg Even more cameras today. :D
I shaved with a fresh blade, and it certainly was much better than the previous one. Nothing special, but didn't feel rough. Just one pass today again, but that is good enough, as i'm staying at home today.

    Have a great day all!

    Wonderful shave, Barry!
    Welcome to the Crew!

I don't have a lot of experience using a shavette so I'm sure those with more experience will be along shortly to help you out. For me it was shallow angle, light touch and a lot of skin stretching with my off hand. Make sure you have plenty of time for your shave, you don't want to feel rushed. If there is a concern that your shavette needs sanitizing do it for peace of mind.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

That’s pretty much the reason I unloaded it, too light for my tastes.

Well, actually just regular coffee for me, but i use a similar pot for making coffee when i'm camping. Without the terrible electric stove of course.

Applying his clown makeup after realizing that his wife is unfaithful. The opera is titled: Pagliacci, which means "Clowns".

Good for you splurging for the real deal, Myles. It'll last you a while and I am sure it'll become your signature scent.

Thx ! I’ll let you guys know how it went

And yeah I’m not gonna apply any pressure or anything, just a very light touch

And of course I’ll take my time, I don’t want my first shave to be a bloodbath

Dr. Mrs. Primo is also none too fond of the acronym either. I refrain from its usage when in her vicinity.

@Keithmax has a very appropriate intro/rule for those new (and experienced) open edge tool users. I’ll let him bring it to light. It’s a great mantra to remember every time I pick up a kni....er straight razor.
