    Thanks, Daniel!
It's a Russian razor that I ordered direct from the manufacturer. I picked up the complete set which is handle, top cap and four different baseplates. Great razor.

It seems to be reasonably priced. I don't have the money for it now, but maybe some day. I'll have to check out some other options too..

    Razor: Gillette Senator
    Blade: Rapira Swedish SuperSteel (3)
    Brush: MrEE #1
    SS & AS: Stirling Noir

For some reason I stuggled with the Senator this morning. Perhaps the blade is a little old or the razor just requires a different touch but it just wasn't shaving close. I did 2 passes, but ended up doing a cleanup pass which pretty much covered my whole face. Then the alum was warm suggesting I over did it little.

I'm pretty sure my angle was off just a touch on the first 2 passes and while I fixed that on the cleanup I was also too aggressive and applied some pressure. I think the Alum and AS will keep the irritation at bay. So I'll be fine.

Polaroid film last I heard was being revived by some outfit out of Italy or Germany. It’s hard to remember. I had 11 hours of cancer surgery back in 2014 and the anesthesia really fried my memory cells. Sorry! I used to like my TLR and Leica because I would develop the negatives myself, and then scan them. I’ve actually forgotten the details of the process.

Well my precise friend, as someone who made a living counting stuff (retired mathematical statistician), all I can say in response is I think I’ve hit my 100 straight shave threshold by now. :p

Great photo and shave summary, Evan. You might want to use a little balm or Shea butter if you have any on the overheated areas. Works well for me.

I think Impossible made some sort of polaroid film, the color one was terrible, but the b&w was decent. I think actual Polaroid branded film has made a comeback now.

Sounds very rough, sorry to hear that.
