Magnificent shave, Gary! I was going through my aftershaves last night and decided to rub some Special Reserve into my hands. It will make its way into my shaves soon.

Sounds like a somewhat frustrating albeit educational experience! Great shave, Maestro! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thx for the answer guys !

So I’m using a Proraso soap, the one for sensitive skins

I basically follow what I’ve seen online for the process, first I start loading directly on the soap, after putting my brush (with synthetic hair) under a tap of water, then I lather in a bowl. Even though I have to say I did not see a big difference after lathering in my bowl, maybe I did not do it long enough or something
Or maybe too much water or not enough water, can’t really tell

What I’m happy about is that the parts I did manage to shave on feel smoother than other parts, meaning I still managed to shave a little bit, and without any kind of injury for now

I have to say I did take my time and went slowly

You just mentioned three of my six favorite bourbons! Four Roses, Elijah Craig and Blantons are my gotos. I always have a bottle of each in the liquor cabinet! I do have a bottle of Pappy, but that’s only for very special occasions.

    Thx for the answer !

Do I add the water directly in my bowl ? Or do you mean add water on the brush ?

I will be careful tomorrow to try and watch out for all those things

Are you adding water as you're building the lather in your bowl? You'll need to slowly add water, either by dipping the tip of your brush or dribbling off your fingertips. Patience and practice and you will get there.

Here are those cameras I said I would take pics of. All 3 belonged to my grandparents, although only the Pentax ME can I ever remember them using. The two Brownies were from a generation before that, obviously.

What part of Alabama? They have disappeared from most all gas stations here in N GA. I can remember being in line as a child and the person in front asking for a pickled pig's foot. "That one, no not that one the other one". I am like picking out degrees of nasty makes a difference. I honestly hope I am not hungry enough before I die to eat either the eggs or pig's feet.

Very cool gear! My friend has a few ME Supers i think. Box cameras are always interesting, just because they are so simple.
