Beautiful photo and shave Joseph. Waiting for a razor to be delivered is frustrating at best. :angry032:

Being a city boy Cajun from south Louisiana....where we sometimes eat a few things that make billy goats puke, I’m quite familiar with this conversation at a gas station check out counter. Even 7-11s & grocery store delis. And...it’s still a conversation I run into when going back.

It’s like talking to your vet about a dog recycling his own poop. When he said they had samples of a developed powder to sprinkle on his poop to make it taste bad....I just kind of shook my head.

    Reality is hilarious.

I was up and moving early this morning. I even had breakfast with my wife and managed to fall asleep on the sofa. I guess I needed the rest. So a relaxing shave was the order for day. I took my time and overloaded the brush. I really took extra time lathering the MWF while adding water slowly. The reward was worth the extra effort. I will be using a newer boar next week so it will be interesting to see if my success transfers. Three passes and touch ups ended in a wonderful drama free BBS shave. Given the cooler weather, I rewarded myself with a splash of Small Batch Shave Tonic. This stuff is wonderful on cool mornings. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.

I recall having that conversion with our vet about a smooth collie. Just damn. I see stuff everyday that you just can't make up. Reality is hilarious is correct.

    Crystal, Louisiana, or Tabasco?

I like Crystal the best, but Louisiana is more plentiful where we shop.

Not really no, I’m not adding extra water in my bowl and that may be the problem

Tomorrow I’ll try to slowly add water by putting the tip of the brush under the tap, that may solve my problem

I would say loading was okay, but the lathering part I definitely was doing something wrong and I wasn’t informed enough or patient enough, or both haha

I can vouch for the pickled eggs, but I am in agreement with you on the pig's feet.

    jluc smelling pretty

I have a small bowl that's always alongside my sink. I use it to soak my brush and to dip the tips of my brush whether I'm bowl or face lathering. That's what works for me anyway.
