I like the Blue themed photo! Your DonJae Barber’s razor looks to have a healthy blade feel to it! Hope you enjoyed your shave!

    Thanks, Jeff.
    This shavette is very aggressive.
I use It mostly for the "blue themed" SOTDs.
But I enjoy sometime a different feeling.

    I Coloniali~~Dubl Duck #4~~2011 Mühle R41/Wizamet SI
Let's focus on the terrific job @Jayaruh did re-knotting this dubl duck #4.
Here's what the knot looked like upon receiving the purchase:
    IMG_5481.jpeg
BTW: Seller's description (a shave-forum member, not TSD) "Like New, Looks Like it was Never Used".
Well, it was not to be salvaged, so off it went to Jim.
It was replaced with an Omega 10049.
It arrived yesterday and I went to work ridding the knot of the boar stench.
Omega boars are the stinkiest knots I have ever smelled.
I also took a few minutes to cut out the random black bristle.
Pro tip: These black bristles are why a boar knot is scratchy. They will NEVER soften up.
Removal makes the brush almost immediately soft.
    Stench...well, that's going to take about a dozen+ lathers.
Today's soap is the Italian I Coloniali.
Not even this rock-hard soap stands a chance against an Omega 49 knot.
Bowl-lathered for some extra good-looking lather:

The R41 cannot really be classified as an OC razor. Yes, the safety bar is deeply scalloped,
but purists will reject the notion that it is an OC.
Rode the bar with this razor for the VERY FIRST TIME.
Tremendous success all over, including the treacherous neck.
The I Coloniali after shave emulsion was soothing and I through caution to the wind
when I grabbed my bottle of Alt Innsbruck, fitted with an atomizer, and adorned myself
    with a few aromatic spritzes.
