Thanks Joe..the AV Musk is nearing the end. Niagra Falls effect in pouring it out. :-(. (Well, just like its cousin, AV Classic Ice Blue).

Stellar lineup and report, Joseph! The brush looks great (and I took your advice about the black boar hairs on one brush).

What type of wood is that, Danny? I don’t recognize it offhand. You cut long lengths, so you have an external burner?

Very nice! Anbbas boar? Don’t recall hearing of that one. The handle looks similar to a few of the Omegas. A quality knot?

Thanks Andrew...the "Sophisticated Goo" reports are a little on the casual side-nothing fancy to comment on. But it's still shaving. Barbasol ain't Mickey Mouse(especially since it got sponshorships from Babe Ruth and Knute Rockne).

His narration in Michael Jackson's Thriller video was spectacular as well!

I see your logo on the soap, Pierpaolo. It never dawned on me, for whatever reason, that these unique samples you show off are your own creations. Very cool. Do you sell your software creations?

Lovely shave Jason! I monitored part of yesterday's conversation. I could tell several of us had Saturday projects.

My Goodwill is on deck for Tuesday. It is a good shaver and key lime sounds nice.

    Enjoy your day!

Looks like a lot of work. At least you have the tools to make it possble.

Thank you, Jeff. Agreed on Lime scents. While I love the Jeeves lather, this Key Lime scent isn’t a fave like the Castle Forbes cream. Pairing either with this Maol splash, or Eau Sauvage or even Florida Water is a good idea.
As for the photos, even though I do joke that I attribute the look to poor lighting, I do mess with colours and filters a bit to get the look I want. I think I started trying for a vintage feel with vintage razors (and a vintage house).

    Gillette NEW Long Comb
    Gillette Platinum (1)
    Semogue 820 Boar
    D.R. Harris Marlborough Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Pitralon Classic Aftershave

2 easy passes with the Gillette NEW LC provided a comfortable near BBS result this morning. I haven't shaved with a DE in over 6 weeks so it it took a minute to get accustomed.

Nice shave Blair. I'm sure that tank is a well photographed landmark.

A ‘49 is a good choice at the best of times, but in an iconic handle such as that? Exquisite.
I have left a knot full of lather on a Omega for a few hours on a few of mine. I do believe it speeds up the defunking process.

Looks like a thinner handle on that NEW than the usual, Andrew. Is it the same weight? The LC is just fantastic.
