Sunday morning: Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/new Derby Bundubeard Kudu’s Kick SS Prep ASB Alt Innsbruck AS Splash In spite of the chilly morning weather I still opted for a good mentholated soap so the Kudu was a great choice - its beautiful coffee/peppermint scent filled the bathroom, while I was lathering up I dipped my brush slightly in hot water and the lather became so THICK as well as ultra slick, and the menthol sensation felt like Paradise. After a nice massage with the Prep the Alt Innsbruck went on icy cold along with its lovely old school European scent that I love so much. Sunday Schick Shave, Oct4th 2020 Razor:Schick E2 injector, Canadian Variant-Mfg 1930's-40's, excellent mid range, 1 OZ weight approx. Blade: Personna SS PTFE (3) Very sharp blade, reasonably smooth with good longevity. Soap: Proraso red Sandalwood- good protection with nice mild scent. Brush: Yaqi Rainbow with brown whiskers 26 mm syn- Excellent for creating lather + cloud like soft tips. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera Gel on beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Proraso red sandalwood with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = great shave with my Schick E2 injector. Have some great shaves! Sunday: warm shower with Old Spice Timber bar soap Homemade PSO Parker 80R 2+ passes Gillette Platinum Plus (2) Arko soap in a warm mug DublDuck boar Thayers unscented WH The Baron A/S Picked up a 6-pack of OS Timber bar soap the other day for 3 bucks. Performance is fine and the scent is mild and pleasant but since the label said "sandalwood" I was expecting it to smell like that. A nice close shave and I smell better than I look.
