Very nice to meet you. We all need work on our English from time to time. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks! A very cool creation in deed. I have used both and have 2 tinser razors. Both are great razors. Thanks! You've never seen me, that's apparent. Good morning Gary! Thanks! It went well, thanks! Never seen that little bugger like that. More like a hog that crawled out of the ugly pit. Cutting bread with feathers huh??? Ain't that somthing. Wonder how many loafs she get per blade?? I'm down to just over 1200 DE Feathers. Might get anothe order of 800 to make it through.... It takes 3650 to make it 10 years. I'm still a little short. Thanks all. Till next time, everyone take care! tp
I'm sending Jim my Mystery E. Brushworks Danger brush handle and a Rudy Vey brush that keeps losing the Shavemac knot. I used the RV brush today, and the knot came out again as I was rinsing it out. I saw your earlier post showing the beautiful handle that Jim re-knotted for you, and I'm having a Maggard's SHD 30 mm fan knot sent to Jim.
Looks great, Jim. You did a nice job dolling up the handle! You know, it may be shiny, but you see these Monster handles everywhere you look out in the wild. If you want to talk collectability, I know a hillbilly that has the world's only bead blasted red anodized Danger brush. I've been in contact with the Smithsonian, and I reserved a spot for it in the display next to Archie and Edith Bunker's living room chairs. True Americana.
So, if this was work... I'd be sending out an email with an agenda for Monday's meeting (actually would have sent this out Friday morning, but this isn't work). Agenda: Follow up on Action Items - Team (30 min - the rest of the day) Menthol Monday - Team Take Picture Describe how much you love menthol mention shave quality Discuss scent and how awesome it is Promiss to finish soap, someday. get off-topic Food Covid-19 Canada Kentucky SWMBO Work - Evan, Blair, and rarely Clint. Monobilt Monday - Team (who have cooper monobilt razors) See above Mention how awesome the Monobilt is then put it way until next year. Discuss Challenge for Next Week - Gary (Any time leftover) Tell those who forgot Monobilt Monday, it's okay, they can use it tomorrow, then report them to HR. I find people get last week's action items done a lot more often when I remind them we'll be following up this week. See you all TOMORROW!
Thank you Joe. Here’s the link for the shave tonic. https://derbycitychopshop.shopsettings.com/Winter-Reserve-Small-Batch-Shave-Tonic-p182299047 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've had the pleasure of working with Jim on several projects. I hope to meet him in person one day. He's a master craftsman, a super nice guy, and he freely and humbly shares his talents. He is a terrific ambassador for the traditional wet shaving hobby, and he has my sincere respect. If it wasn't for that cold water shaving thing...
Nope...don't have that one. And, it does not resemble the cute little otters. I have thought about ordering that soap already. I think it's a seasonal scent that he re-releases every year. Now quit pickin' on the otter.
Sounds good, Joe. I'm a novice when it comes to bourbon, but Single Barrel is my favorite of all the Four Roses offerings. I'm currently (and slowly) working on a bottle of Russell's Reserve Single Barrel. At 55% ABV, it is a little hot when you drink it neat. It makes a pretty good Old Fashioned, though. I'm not a purist...I'll use anything I have on-hand to make an Old Fashioned. A wee dram of Maker's Mark in a crock pot full of BBQ chicken ain't bad, either. When COVID ceases to be a thing, a buddy and I will resume our get-togethers every couple of months to visit the distilleries.
Joe, it's made in my neck of the woods...Derby City Chop Shop in Louisville. https://derbycitychopshop.shopsettings.com/Winter-Reserve-Small-Batch-Shave-Tonic-p182299047 It's good stuff. I shared my bottle with a friend, and I need to restock also.
