    Lovely shave, Maestro! I’m still eagerly awaiting the arrival of your new OC! Las Vegas odds are it’s a Tradere OC, but a few stragglers have even money on a New LC in the kind of superlative condition you require of your shave implements! My money’s on the Tradere! I hope I'm right; I’d hate to have to send cousin Vito to Indiana for a chat about investment fund recovery! ;)

    My ATT S2 is doing nice BBS shaves.

    I used the PAA Ascension Saturday for a quick 2 pass shave, but I can't use that every day I think. It's supposedly adjustable but I always have it tightened right up.
    and then ATT S2 Sunday night to BBS, leaving me DFS this AM.

    The Zenith "Chubby Scrubby" boar brush continues to build a lather, then take it away. I am reapplying the Taconic stick between passes with a very wet brush
    I will try the hair conditioner treatment I've read of, and say if it works to reduce the absorbtion. I'm sure between that and breaking in, it will eventually be good for face lathering and also hard soaps. It has the firm backbone and short loft I was looking for.

    Real good shave this morning. First of a PAA Bay Rum/Clubman Special Reserve trifecta. 0:30 to load the "Boomtown" onto the Jayaruh #59. Clyde Shmitty(my pen name for the PAA owner)gives us real thick soap. I bloomed the brush a little extra today, and was pleasantly surprised to notice that the soap scooped the water right up, as my first pass looked drier than previous first passes with other soaps. Nice work along the cheeks and Porcupine Alley. Slight do-overs are needed for the PA edges. No issues on the jawline and Cactus Nation. I did a sharper angle from the sides of the neck to the middle(thus the "Y" looked almost like a "T"). As reported above, Clubman Special Reserve to finish. So glad Pinaud's fellas gave Clubman that "Western feeling" as an alternative to the "just walked out of the barbershop" feeling we've enjoyed since 1830. Actually that came out wrong(I didn't begin shaving in 1830), but you know what I mean :cool:. My goofiness took my mind off the shave comment-Top Of The World Excellent.
