    I'm just guessing, Jim. I just don't see to many pics of the knurled handled ones. Linuxguile had one that I recall. As you can see from the pics today, most are the alternating/striped handled ones.

    Sincerely appreciated Jason! The CH2 is 'almost' too small in my world as well. Handle & brush loft could be a few mm more.

    Thanks Joe! Corrosive is Derek's name for the design. It's done with punches (while steel is hot), detail work with grinders/files, and finally black metal treatment to make the work stand out (also a rust resistant coating). Zero concerns for me w/blade being compromised.

    Monday's Shave

    Merkur 15C
    Gillette Platinum (2)
    Vulfix No. 28 Boar
    Proraso Green Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Proraso Green Aftershave

    I spent more time today loading the Proraso soap than I usually do. 15 seconds clockwise and 15 seconds counter clockwise. After applying the rather dry lather to my face, I slowly added water (8 separate times dipping my brush tips in water) while face lathering. The result was a rich, creamy and well hydrated lather that dripped off the brush a few times.

    3 passes this morning with the mild Merkur 15C provided a comfortable BBS result with no irritation or mishaps. Cotton ball test = passed.
    The Proraso Green AS left my face feeling cool and refreshed.
