    If I’ve missed another October thread, please mods, feel free to merge these. If not, here goes;

    I had my first Covid test today. No reason to think I’ve been exposed. This now a requirement at the Pain Management practice, where I get periodic injections for back pain. They do it, in their office 5 days before. The test itself is pretty innocuous. I have no problem with the requirement. I can certainly understand their need to protect everyone involved.

    Glad to hear your tests came out negative, Sara and thanks for picking up the slack with this thread.

    Oh, and here's a pic for the new thread.

    I just had the test today, so I don’t know the result. But I have no apparent reason to worry.

    Bah, I had to get tested yesterday due to a possible exposure, and had to miss my Uncle's funeral today.

    I've been lying around the house since with some pretty nasty chills that developed last night. It's worrisome.

    Taking daughter to pet store to buy maggots for her lizard to devour alive. Also, will make addition to list Sentences I Never Imagined That I Would Type.

    Today ended with a pleasant surprise. My Blue Wabbit came off the printer. Going to try it out in the morning.

    Been watching some old episodes of the old Rawhide show with Clint Eastwood as Rowdy Yates..before he got all super famous. Rollin..rollin..rollin. You know it seems a really hard job to drive those dowggies out on the trail. They were always getting into problems of one sort or another..

    I just ruined a keyboard by spilling coffee on it. At least this time, none of you were at fault. ;)

    Wow. Been a few years. Been busy but I just remembered the shave den. Feel like I’ve been on a major journey. I believe it’s been a couple of years since I posted.
    Hope everyone is well and safe

    I finally got some news about my Dad’s Swiss Army knife. I sent it to Victorinox for restoration months ago. The US repair center couldn’t fix it (a fact they took far too long to tell me) but said they could send it to the factory in Switzerland, where they might be able to.
    They finally got back to me with an estimate. The repair will cost $28.00. I imagined it would be much more.
