    "Don't leave home without it" includes my AMEX card and my bathing suit. I can't swim for two hours after I tie on the feedbag, though.

    Meet Hannibal (cause I already have a kamisori called Loki). Had a great shave going, fun ZM face lather from Jason's handle loaded with the Omega boar....and wow. Lightning strike gotcha on nearly the last swipe of the second pass. Not entirely sure if it was blade angle or (not) taught skin, but obviously a user error during what is a normal blade swipe for me (not a set down). Inspection and flow indicated a tiny bite on the upper left lip, the peak of the transition area between skin and soft tissue. Slow leak that didn't want to stop no matter what was thrown at it....alum swipe (no), alum w/pressure (no). Ended up needing a combination of pressure, super dry skin, and hefty application of Proraso Styptic gel.

    Finished with Keith's rule....set down the straight and used the Tradere OC for the remaining pass of lower neck & jawline.

    All better now....just a pinhead spot on the lip, but no fun earlier this morning.

    Tomorrow. Better.

    Believe this is a 2019 batch. Not to Smokey not to citrusy just right. Imma give it a run with a proraso shave this week.

    SOTD WEDNESDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 7, 2020

    Great shave this morning! The jasper stone edge on this Puma never lets me down and delivered an epic velveteen mug shave. My tub of Nancy Boy Signature shave cream gave up the ghost to the depredations of my MrEE Monster Synth! Time to open a fresh tub! There was still plenty of lather for my dome shave. I realize it’s OC October, and I guess the shave Gods do as well. I decided (hubris) to use my Vector, a SB AC razor, and was punished with a set-down error. Actually, SWMBO popped in just as I was beginning the dome shave, and startled me. Quite minor, but a definite reminder to shave earlier. Despite this very minor initial mishap, the rest of the shave was stellar leaving me feeling clean, smooth and velveteen!

    RAZOR: Puma Solingen 5/8 (Mug), Blackland Vector (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather Super AC
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by Argan Oil.
    BRUSH: MrEE Monster Tuxedo Synth
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys WH. Finished with Nancy Boy Signature Balm!
