    This week is flying by quickly. Loaded a fresh Feather blade in the Tatara OC for the next several shaves. This combo is a great match. The MWF lathered pretty well again today. I think I didn't load enough. I had enough for three passes and touch ups but that was about it. I ended up with a near BBS shave since I didn't buff my lower right neck quite enough. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

    Been a tough week. Not the work but the people around me. Today is my Friday, hopefully. I'm ready for the weekend.
    If the week of my 55th birthday is like this week it'll be my last week.

    Great shave this morning with a "renewed" razor. The Soap Commander and the Feather blade just brought it all together.

    I have had this razor for over a year now. I finally finished it up. It is not a bad shaver. When I got the razor is was missing the handle tube but I had a piece of aluminum that worked out after trueing the ends up on the lathe. Straightening the teeth was an experiment and a nerve racking experience. Sorry for all of the pictures but I wanted to show that these old razor can be brought back into service.

    I decided to listen to some Rick Wakeman while i shaved. And i got a nick right under my nose, when i concentrated too much on the music. :D
    Alum block fixed it very quickly though. Apart from that, the shave was very good.
