Thanks Jeff! She is a smooth shaver. She is my 2nd largest razor and it looks so small compared to Mad Max.

Why, were you trying a buying freeze for den reduction purposes?

Thanks Joseph! I find that a near wedge is very easy to use because of the weight and the inflexibility of the blade. It is also very forgiving as compared to a full hollow. I have never had a bad shave with it. I am very happy with it and should use it more frequently.

Two days of growth, same old gear, including a war-torn Mike's tin, 2+ passes, and near BBS results. The LE brush did a stellar job with the Mike's soap. Inspired by @Primotenore, I took extra time to make nice, almost drippy, slick lather. This inexpensive knot has changed my opinion of synthetics in general. I like the combination of its soft tips and firm backbone. I also like that you can give it a quick dip in warm water, and it is ready to go. The handle shape feels good in my hand. Even though it is smooth, it's easy to grip.

The only downside to today's shave is that I worked my neck a bit too much with buffing and J-hooks, and I feel some minor after-effects. It's not bad and no one else but me and you know about it. :) We're having postcard weather here in the Bluegrass, and I'm nice and smooth for an evening porch visit with dear friends we haven't seen since last year.

I hope to work in some OC shaves later this month. I'm itchin' to bring out my NEW LC or SC.

And I found a watch for @b1hart that is easy to set.

    Grace and Peace.

Very nice dual shave. Just wondering if you are trying to freezed the dome with that splash. You know you will not have to wait much longer for Mother Nature to take care of it herself for you. No artificial ingredients needed.

I was trying to reduce inventory by more than I bought. I have several soaps and creams on the ropes so it’s all good.

I've stopped eating bread in protest. Oh wait a minute. I may have to rethink my decision.

    Feather blades?
    Fresh bread?

Thanks Joe. These are friends we can call on anytime for anything. We've known them for about 35 years, and the gent was one of my first bosses. (Man oh man, did he have his hands full, and I'm not joking. :)) He's been a wonderful mentor and great friend to me over the years. Up until COVID, he and I got together for a guy's night out each month. We're starting back beginning with a visit tonight that includes our Brides.

Thanks Joe. I know you guys are getting tired of seeing the same gear, but it's hard to put the good stuff away. As I've said many times, @jtspartan is a brush turning master, and I'm honored to have one of his creations.

Thanks Clint. My Sub is two model iterations behind this one. Looks like I now have a vintage. ;) Prices have skyrocketed in the last few years, and I'm glad I jumped on mine when I did.

I hope you are feeling better and are filled to the brim with chill pills today. :)
