Excellent Lime shave, Jeff! Between the FHS and FAS Feather blades, which do you find give better results?

Thanks Andrew! I haven't used it in awhile. It is a refreshing scent, but alas, it doesn't stick around.

Great shave Joe. Glad to see you using the Fine soap. I just wish the scent was a little stronger for you but it is some great lather. Have a great day friend!

As I implied in so many words in a previous post, CTS shaves should be top notch all the time when done right.

    Friday's Shave
    #OCtober

    Otto Roth NEW LC Razor
    Voskhod (1)
    Wild West Brushworks 'Odin'
    Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Alt-Innsbruck Aftershave

Today, I think I made the best lather yet from MWF...it only took me 50+ shaves to reach this point. Interestingly though, after the shave, I see the beginnings of a small donut in the middle of the puck. I bloomed the puck for about two hours and chose a synthetic brush to do the lathering work. I poured off the bloom water and did not use it as a pre-shave. After squeezing the brush of all excess water, I loaded for about 40 seconds until I didn't see the annoying big bubbled foam. At that point I started face lathering. Total face lather time before the first pass was about 3 minutes, as I added water slowly by dipping my brush tips in water and working it into the lather 5 separate times until I got a yogurt-like, stable consistency. There was still some dissipation, but nothing like I usually get. For the second and third passes, I did pretty much just like the first, but with less water added. I think I had enough lather in the brush for about 5-6 passes.

So, the 3 passes with the Otto Roth razor provided a comfortable BBS finish this morning. It took a bit of work, but I have conquered the MWF.
Alt-Innsbruck completed the shave with its wonderful menthol chill and stellar scent.

Thank you, Danny. As for the PT, yes, it has been. I'm not doing as much "homework" as I should, thus I need to crank up on that front. My Mom didn't pay much attention to her PT's either.....like mother like son I guess. I learned yesterday from my neurologist that the higher the mg of my medication, the tougher it might be for me to walk with good balance. Might cut down on the MG in the near future, but for now it's PT time.

Awesome shave Andrew! 50 shaves and you hit bottom! I thought that MWF is a hard soap that it would last a very long time. You must be heavy-handed with your brush.
