I was up and moving very early this morning. It has been a productive morning thus far. I am trying to knock out some work before the UGS game at 3:30. Loading and lathering the MWF was uneventful. I managed to have enough lather for well more than 3 passes. For me the trick with MWF is to take my time loading and then really take my time adding water and lathering. Today was the last day for my run with the Tatara OC and Tatara Boar brush. This week has been a real eyeopener for me with the Tatara OC moving from a razor that I enjoy using to one I love using. Moving off the cap and riding the bar more really elevated the performance and comfort of this razor. I will try this same approach with the more aggressive Tatara Nodachi. Three passes and minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS shave. A splash of the Dominica Grand Bay Rum aftershave was just the ticket on a rainy messy morning in the ATL. I am really enjoying the 6 day runs with the razor. Next up for me is the Karve D plate OC.

I normally run each razor for the life of the blade. That means three shaves for DE's, five to six for SE's. I'll usually do a six shave run with a new razor to get to know it a little better before moving on. Looking at the usage stats in the Shaving Buddy app I haven't been very consistent with that. Next month will be Neglected November for me. Knock the dust off some seldom used razors.

I am much the same with the DE and SE razors. I have done a fair job at spreading the love on the razors and brushes. Soaps I have neglected many in my efforts to use some stuff up.
