    About ice cream....as I implied earlier, this "Sweet Cigar" soap from ManHands Soap makes me wonder if I'm putting chocolate ice cream on my hands not a cigar.

    Well, that's interesting...I do the exact same order each day and do rewet my face between passes. Moving up to a 3rd pass might make sure nothing is missed. I think the key is to make sure to get the most soap on as possible. Sometimes I can feel a missed area right away(1st pass)so I go back and get it.

    Thank you, Gentlemen, for the nice words. Ended up needing to do some paperwork for work for a few hours today, but still got in lots of family/house stuff done as well. I will try to get to your excellent posts as well.

    October 12 SOTA Menthol Monday!

    Good afternoon guys!

    Shavette Shave #207
    Parker SRB
    Rockwell 1/2 DE Blade (4)
    JR #290 Synthetic Brush
    CF Cryogen SS and AS
    Whiskers: 31 hours

    Although it is a chilly, dreary, rainy day in NY, I decided to man up and use Cryogen. I modified the situation by not dryloading heavy and thus my second pass lather was very light, but still slick. If I had a full day's growth, I would have dryloaded with a few more taps on the puck. Anyway, I did 2.5 passes that gave me a near BBS shave without any red ribbons or irritation. Topped the shave with a light amount of the matching aftershave. I am still feeling the tingle 25 minutes after the shave. You guys have a great evening! 20201012_165310.jpg
