    Thanks, Patrick!
I'm in the minority. Most seem to love them, they're just ok to me. I'm doing the mini focus to see if my opinion changes.

I hadn't thought about that, Jason. I think it'll still be around in April.

Thank you Jason. Today is going pretty well. I am waiting on electronic signatures on 37 tax returns. Only 6-8 of these will have to be mailed. Still stacking up to be a long day tomorrow but I can see the end from here.

So true Jeff. That is why there are so many soaps and that is a good thing.

Thanks Jason. I am going to try the same setup in the morning. Clint and Jim suggested that I get off of the cap.

I had an early morning shave on nearly two days of growth with my focus gear (are you guys getting bored with it, yet?) ahead of my Bride's doctor's appointment. One WTG pass on the cheeks, two passes on my chin/neck (WTG and ATG), a few touchups, and I was plenty good. The doc was extremely pleased with Kathy's progress, and we praise the Lord for it!

We're taking advantage of more postcard weather this week to meet with friends we haven't seen all summer and to get our driveway sealed. We're also making plans to get our garage floor epoxy coated in the spring once things settle down. I hope you're all having a fantastic day.

    Grace and Peace.

No doubt, Joe, the upfront cost on some products are substantial, but the cost per use can still be reasonable. I've barely made a dent in a puck of MdC that I purchased in 2013. (I plan to plow through it more earnestly as the number of soaps in my den continue to move toward my top 5. Next year could see a pretty regular rotation between MdC, Tabac, and possibly one or two others.) Just between my two pucks of MdC (yeah, I have a second one that has never been opened) and...ahem...well....ahh....pucks of Tabac, I have years worth of soap. :)

I purchased a small bottle of Terre d'Hermès more than 5 years ago for about $90, and I still have maybe half the bottle. It's probably my favorite guy's frag of all time. I don't use a lot of colognes, so I need to work through a couple of bottles before I'll consider Aventus. At my rate of usage, that will take years.

Just my humble opinion. You can certainly use less expensive products that are still very good, but I try to at least consider the per use cost or the more expensive stuff.

Thank you, Joe. I have both the vintage tallow AoS Lavender pucks (3) and the original formula cream. Both outstanding products.

Great news on the medical front Charlie! You guys have gone through plenty this year so it's great that you and Kathy can enjoy your time with friends.

If I didn't have to lather up my big noggin as well, it probably would not even be an issue! I'm just cheap when it comes to buying soap!

I am not against top shelf stuff. I have the Mad Max to show for it. There are those who must have everything top of the line and I am fine with it. I think you can get just as good a shave with budget items as well. Again, it comes down to can you afford to drive a late model vette or are you limited in buying 10 yr old Subaru Outback. I believe that we should be good stewards of our finances. We only have one life and whatever makes anyone happy is great by me.
