So, I just made my first entry for a worth1000 contest... it's utter crap, but I thought it was funny.

I need to learn to use GIMP better, but don't have time to waste on it when I have starcraft to re-master (and tires and bearings to replace on the Starcraft camper).

Wow... that is like a movie that I would almost go brave the insanity of a theater to go see.

wow. yet MORE evidence of: A) No good deed goes unpunished, and B) why morale and positive feelings are dwindling, C) why it's better to be the crooked person than the upright person (at least, according to our current society)

absolutely ridiculous. why be a good person when being evil is so much easier, and much more rewarding? at least for the short term?
(these arguments only apply to a person without a solid spiritual/ethical/moral code, but also shows why fewer and fewer people would do so, secularly speaking anyway)

 

Amazing, absolutely amazing. I think the root of the problem is a society that is completely and totally sue happy. It seems that everyone is looking for the big score. Stole something from Walmart, got tackled by Security and dislocated your shoulder? Well just sue Walmart and you're all set there's a cool six figures that you did nothing but behave badly to deserve. So you say you were at work and chased after a shoplifting guy but when you caught him he pulled out a knife and cut you? Don't dispair, just sue and not only can you replace that $25 button down shirt but you can buy a house or two. It seems that the only thing more despicable than lazy greedy wastes of human skin shooting for the big score is a court system that is more than willing to entertain them. But back to these two dudes chasing this shoplifter, I really feel sorry for these guys. The only thing they're guilty of is having a sense of right and wrong and trying to help someone out. What do they get for their good intentions, the high hard one and a trip to the Unemployment Office. What the hell is the matter with people these days?

Now back to my current project... getting a 21" monitor to fit in a corner desk/hutch designed for a 17" monitor. It is getting really close to chainsaw time!
