That was me. I PIFed it quite some time ago. Love the Jeeves Lather, didn’t jive with that particular scent.

It could be a bit more "cherry", but it does lather and perform great. Guessing it's triple milled and having been 7 oz to start with, it'll last a long time.

 

Not 3x milled, actually, but yes it does firm up. You are bang on about the 7oz size- I have a puck of Jeeves Apothecary of the same vintage and size and it will last forever. One of my favourite artisan lathers, for what that’s worth.

***EDIT - 10/10 shave. Utterly perfect. BBS. The least amount of irritation I've had, possibly ever on a BBS shave and this shave convinced me to finally pull the trigger on a 300 blade purchase via Amazon for a just under $23.90. I've had the best shaves overall in both my Edwin Jagger Kelvin and now the PAA Ascension....beating my overall favorite BiC CP blade that I use in most of my razors. When I saw the bargain on Amazon, I jumped on it.

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower / Original Source ~ Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Wilko Men's shave Oil.
Brush: Yaqi ~ Naples 24mm Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Soap: Monsavon au lait.
Blade: Mers ~ Supershave X Platinum. (1)
Razor: Muhle R41.

Post:

Cold Water Face & head Rinse./Homemade peppermint lavender, eucalyptus +Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Calvin Klein ~ Eternity For Men ASL./ Aloe Vera Gel.

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Second outing with the Mers Supershave X Platinum which paired together nicely with the Muhle R41 making a smooth efficient duo.
As always this inexpensive soap provided a luxurious protective slick lather....The monsavon au lait has become one of my favourite shaving soaps, the post shave feeling it gives is absolutely superb, making each shave i have with it a very enjoyable shaving experience....Outstandingly good what more can i say.

A pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling divine.
