Well, for $7.26, I had to take a chance. We shall see. I ordered one in black.

Shouldn't it then be called "The Banana" or maybe "The Minion"* instead of "The Wabbit"?!

My yellow Wabbit V3 has arrived and for $8 delivered to my door, I'm quite pleased.
A tiny bit of filing required on the tabs, nothing else.

The files on thingiverse have been updated.
Please download them again before printing a V3 handle.
It turned out that something went wrong with the font on the handle and this has been corrected now.

I told my printer guy that I was a bit disappointed in the way the razor printed. He has reprinted the banana wabbit three more times and has gotten better results with a different orientation. Pictures aren't the best, but it does look a lot cleaner. He is sending it out today.

Yes orientation is critical for proper blade fitment. Glad he is so willing to work with you. Once he dials it in. Others can safely order from him. Knowing they will get a good product.

Jim, when you say “different orientation”, is that a reference as to how the base material is loaded/facing in the printer? Is it the equivalent of cutting with the grain or against the grain?

Yes the direction of the build. As the layers are layer down on top of each other. It is best to try and lay out to have your critical features built standing up. Way better dimensional control that way. The bid down side is that you will not always get as good looking product. You also run into having to build supports to hold the razor. Supports are built at the same time as the razor one layer at a time.

A lot actually needs to be accounted for when properly producing a printed product. That is why quality varies to the extreme from vendors.

    It is a crap shoot.

I am just saying what he said. He has been working with the orientation to get better results. He said he may send an image. Haven't got it yet.
