I might buy Sheep but mainly to go with my 2 Bill Neumann aftershaves(I don't want a scented soap for those).

Thanks Joe! I would recommend it. It lathers great and has great cushion. It is a glycerine soap. I would put on par with Col. Conk soaps but the Imperial is unscented. Someone else in our group tried it but was not impressed with it. He had trouble with it disapating but I have never had that problem. Check on Ebay. Several listing at $11.00 with make offers. I got mine with an offer of $10.00 including shipping. Not bad for 6.2 ounces of soap. The bar, boxed soap and in the container are all the same. If you do get some you can easily melt it into a container of your choice.

Very nice shave Danny! Boars are great once they are broken in properly.

Being unscented (no added fragrance or essential oils), I'm more interested in the soap's natural scent. I want to know if the Stirling Sheep has a pleasant scent or will the sheep tallow dominate the overall smell.

Thanks for the info, Danny. I've seen it on Amazon mainly. I did enjoy Col. Conk Bay Rum (my first shaving soap).

    Wednesday's Shave
    #OCtober

    Schick Type C Repeater
    Personna Blade
    That Crazy Badger
Crowne & Crane 'Tobacco Leaf & Amber' Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    PAA 'Agharta' Aftershave

In my opinion, the amber/vanilla notes in this soap lead the overall scent with tobacco leaf being a background player. It's a pleasant soap with good lathering qualities. It's also made in the next county over from my house (I should really try more of their soaps).

2 passes with the Schick type C provided a comfortable and efficient shave this morning. PAA Agharta is a good complement to the soap, although it has no tobacco note. It's also really strong so I used a bit less than usual.

Thank you, Danny. No worries, I've mixed up names a few times too. :D

Is this the same soap, just in a jar?
