    OCtober 21st, Wed, 2020

    Razor: Razorock old type O.C - Mfg 2015> excellent razor with a KAI SS DE blade. Milder mid range, good daily driver IMO.
    Blade: KAI SS (9) excellent, sharp & smooth + great longevity. Worth having a few tucks for mild razors, .009"wider than a standard blade.
    Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- mild scent + excellent lather qualities with a good post shave feel.
    Brush: Yaqi lucky dice 26mm Tuxedo knot- excellent lather creator(bit of a lather hog) + cloud like soft tips.
    Pre shave: brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
    Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WT + ATG + pickups.
    Post shave : Proraso green with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm,
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [​IMG] Excellent shave with my RR old type & Kai SS blade combo[​IMG].

    BLADE: Feather AC Proguard (Mug), Feather DE (Dome)
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by Argan Oil
    BRUSH: MrEE Monster Tuxedo Synth
    SOAP: PAA CK6 Scentless dosed w/ Peppermint Oil
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin Soap followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Jeris Osage Rub.

    Razor on loan from @twhite aka Doctor S. Evil, the s is for shave. I adjusted the set screw for more gap this time around end result is it made very little difference in the overall shave. I guess the limitation here is the blade edge. Better edge, better shave would be my bet. Right now this razor and blade as it is honed reminds me a lot of a Gillette 40s style Super Speed the way the blade feels and shaves. Next shave will be with the other blade in the set.
