I'm in a cast - it's a dramedy sitcom about a Texan (who loves his Little Debbie Pumpkin Delights) who was working in his yard and amazingly somehow ruptured his bicep tendon, which required surgery to repair. but here's the plot twist - in two weeks, the Texan will wake (after the cast is removed) to discover it was all just a dream - except for the small, mysterious, inexplicable scars on his arm.... oh, and DOM! and thank you
Today is Wednesday, since I live life out to pasture. I was up at 7:30 had my shower and a great shave. Do my household chores. Now just chillin, Great day, then again everyday great.
Since Justin removed the XKCD link from his signature, I rarely venture in to read. Also my computer at work does not have flash so I cant see most of the pics and videos posted.:sad024 Also, cant load flash since I dont have administrative rights. Also went back to school to get my Masters degree in Homeland Security and that keeps me very busy.:sad024
I did? Huh... will have to fix that. I don't recall doing that, but yeah... will fix it. Kewl... I guess we can excuse you for that. So, how do I go about convincing my IT department and upper administrators that they would really really really be better off NOT leaving that cruddy laptop in my room and taking my desktop. Do they not know my record with cell phones, laptops, digital cameras, and everything else that is considered wireless or portable electronics? After a month the laptop is completely useless for anything other than a paperweight to make sure the transparencies don't fly off when people walk across the room. It worked great at first. However, every day there was another software package getting updated and now nothing works correctly. But they have to remove the desktop which is less than a year old and get rid of it in order to save money. ARG&@$^%(*&Z@)^& THey can just go and divide by zero for all I care. Just 4 more days of school, and then I think I will really become a ghost and turn off all electronics for a few weeks until my summer courses start up. I think I am taking something along the lines of "how to not be a complete bore in the classroom and yet still put yourself to sleep" 261.
another update: just got off the phone with my mom, just heard from the hospital that Emily's MRI and MRA came back showing signs of only bruising, no apparent damage, and for the first time the doctors are alluding to chance of full recovery - my pastor's wife is a registered nurse and said that it's a genuine miracle based on what she'd seen. praises and HUGE thanks to all of you thinking of this young lady
Ah, school. The good old days return, eh? Sounds useful, fun, and terrifying all at the same time. Good for you! I do a little OJT in that subject every day. Will continue to send gratitude into the world for Emily's vibrant life. Thanks, Jim. Oh, oh... do you want my bat?
