    Excellent shave with a razor I have not used in a very long time. The Phoenix Starling V2 with a Gem blade was a joy to use. SE shaves are great and I need to put more into the rotation. Soap was slick and everything just came together. A splash of Panuad Clubman after shave lotion and out the door to work.

    My next shave soap will be Central Texas Soaps Grandpa's Barbershop. I wrote earlier of concern of a watery spot right in the middle of the soap. I now think I don't need to get the brush that wet going in, because that "puddle" makes the soap wet enough to begin with. Course I will moisten the brush A LITTLE.
