Thanks, Jason. I had never before even heard of this brand. Normally, I prefer the 22-26mm knots, so this is a big departure for me, but I couldn't say "no" to that gorgeous knot.
It's no longer NOS, but I have never considered this hobby a money-making investment.

Great shave, Evan. The most important lesson I learned in SR shaving, was to learn to accept "good".

    Good afternoon gents!

    Shavette Shave #212
    Dovo Shavette
    Personna Hairshaper Blade (1)
    Semogue OC Super Badger Brush
Stirling Christmas Eve SS and AS
    Whiskers: 27.5 hrs

I normally don't shave with this amount of growth because I look acceptable, but it's church night and always want to look good for service.

I finally got a handle on how to lather with this brush. I know! I know! I am a slow learner with certain things. Lol! Anyway, I painted the lather on my face and then did the scrubbing circles. It wasn't such a lather hog and the soap didn't run down the handle. Achieved a nice, uniform, cushiony lather. I only needed one pass and minor touch-ups because of the new blade and very little beard growth. The result was a near BBC with a minor lip weep and no irritation. I caught myself on the edge of the bottom pink due to misplaced landing. If I didn't stop, then it would have been worse. Hit it with the pencil and it was gone without a trace. Gave myself a double splash of this awesome scent to end this fine shave. Have a great evening guys! 20201025_164038.jpg

Thank you guys. I have had a pretty good day today. Mom's Absentee/Mail In Ballot arrived this week, so after she completed the ballot we took it by the main election office. They have a secure drop box for people that don't want to mail in their ballots. She was happy that she voted and didn't have to stand in line with the threat of Covid. We celebrated by going by and buying ice cream on the way home.
