October 30 Day/Rule Focus Pix & Discussion

I hear you Paul. Red Green is a Canadian comedy actor who had a show on for many years that mainly centered around fixing everything with " the handy mans secret weapon....Duct tape.
He had many funny quotes he would use and the show had an array of funny characters who were members of the lodge he belonged to. Only in Canada eh!

 

Very nice sounding soap Jason. I am found of the Terre de Hermès dupes. This one sounds like it is in the ballpark. Use that Bon Vivant sparingly. I hope Declaration Grooming will decide to bring it back.

 

Battle of the brass will start in the morning. Clint's Bird is scheduled for a return flight home next week and I want to get several comparison shaves in with the Karve and the Bird. This should be interesting.......stay tuned.

Still using my Devette slant.


Used Capitain's choice Bay rum this morning.
I like the scent, but the base is lacking, especially when shaving the gord.
3 passes head and face.
I was cautious because of past experience, but.
The head shave was harsh and the razor skidded over a place on the back of the head.
This caused a small just noticeable nick there, more of a weeper.
The face went well with one weeper over a small bump on the chin.
So I am clean and smooth like I like.
But I'll go with a better soap tomorrow.
For those who would vote me crazy for using this type of razor/blade combo.
I'm also on blood thinners, that adds more nuts to the fruit cake huh.
But I do get great sevice from these tools.
And more proof that it's technique that counts when shaving with any sharp object.
