Thanks Jeff . Y'know, when I was much younger and used Shulton Old Spice(it was still around back then), I can't recall if the aftershave provided more of a "tingle" than Doc Ezlovan's aftershave.

i am well ,thank you Paul,still enjoying my forced semi retirement/house arrest....my process consisted of finding what worked the best with little to no irritation and dutifully replicating that procedure patiently no matter how boring until it became second nature.i didn't worry about bbs results..perfection comes with practice and repetition..follow each step exactly without fail..that week,2 week or 30 day process per set up hammered it home for me..

Thanks Gary....actually "boring" is good for shave practice . Just a lot of details to negotiate to avoid those Knicks, etc.

 

UPS truck is here....this can't be happening, as I didn't order anything. Course one of the other 47 residents in the bldg. might have,(chuck yuk yuk yuk).

 

Thanks, Gary. Here's a comparison of my two Persian Jar brushes. The Simpson is not nearly as elegant as the M&F, but the handle is much more ergonomic.

Another great OCtober shave this morning. The humble ball-end Old Type did its job and I was smooth enough after 3 passes. I must have been half asleep, as halfway through my 3rd pass on my cheek I realized I just did the same XTG pass as pass 2 instead of the usual south-to-north ATG pass. Didn't bother relathering and doing another pass on the one cheek. C'est la vie.
Love this first MrEE brush- love the height, weight and feel of the knurling. Quality work!
