Another shave in the books with the Parker SRX.
I completed the first pass WTG with the SRX (loaded with 1/2 a Super Max Blue Diamond) and cleaned up with my Ever Ready 1912. I used, for the first time, Palmolive shaving cream... I must say that I am extremely underwhelmed by its performance compared to the shaving stick - man I miss that stuff! All in all it was a good and uneventful shave, though I am definitely still getting the hang of the shavette style. I am maintaining my one-handed shaving style as I just don't seem to do too well when using my left.

    Nice shave James!
I'm a two handed shaver, it took a while to be successful.

I could've just been quiet about this razor and if it was a bad ideal, just forgot about it.
But then what fun would that have been.
Yes that piece is the safety bar.
    A SEvette.
    Till morning....

    Oh no you didn't! :)

At least I only cut up a $5.00 razor head.

Terry, on a serious note have you every been struck by lightning? Please understand that we all love you and are here for you. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.:D

Thanks, Jeff! I’ve enjoyed using the Micromatic the past three days. It’s built like a tank and with the right angle, combined with no pressure, it provides a great shave.

    Well thanks Danny???
No I've never been struck by lightning, yet.
But I've been hit by high voltage before, and yes I survived.
I've use razors with no safety bar since October 14.
The day my shave life changed.
Not having a razor that will load a favorite feather artist blade, left me wanting.
Not having access to a cnc machine, well this is the only alternative.
I can see me using this razor as a daily driver.
Just like the other 2 in the den.
Think of it as honing a shavette, with a handle.

    Wish me luck!
Or at least a return to sanity????
    Thanks
