I have seen those in stores, they are pretty cool, blow quite a bit of air, and are silent. They also cost way too much. Not going to be having those anytime soon.

yeah, just read that too....you know, it's gonna be hard for M$ to keep up with Apple and Google when they keep bringing decent enough products to market, but sooo long after G & A, and then kill it before it has a chance to mature.
Granted, they are pointing all those resources to the new Windows Phone 7, but still, that's two years of resources killed. It's not useless, much of that tech will benefit the new phone, but wow.

On an unrelated note...

Principal ordered some projectors through some sort of grant--had to pick from what was on the list. Vivitek d326mx. Nice, compact, DLP...so far so good, let's just flip it over and take a look at the mounting, hopefully it will bolt up okay to the brackets we already have...

No mounting holes!?! Crap.

I've got 4 of these things, and no way to mount them, a principal and a superintendent wanting a projector mounted in every classroom.

Plus, I've got to leave at 2 to go get my tooth worked on. Don't know if it will be a simple filling or a full blown root canal. Pray for simple filling. Regardless, I'm going to have to have a crown, which insurance pays all of about fifty cents toward.

I don't need this crap.

Oh, and to top it all off, someone stole my earbuds out of my office last night.

Thankfully they were just cheap earbuds... but still, it's the principle of the thing. AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaand, I'm in the middle of changing domains over... so that's going about as well as I remember it.

Brent's already come and gone... everything else at this point is gonna be done remotely (probably with a 'screept'), or by me.

I'm out of here at 2 today to go get my mouth worked on and my mood is steadily going downhill.

Found out today that they ordered three promethian boards, too. I have no idea about promethians... don't know what the system requirements are, if they'll work with our setups. I hope to God they don't work, and every one of those teachers needs a new computer to use the boards. Nobody checked with me before ordering the boards.
