Underworld just came in the mail via netflix. I read the summary on the package and came to realize I've already seen this movie at least twice. Meh... Maybe I'll go knit or something instead.

 

Heh, starting to sound like me with "The favor, the watch, and the very big fish." Excellent movie, btw, enjoyed it all 3 times I rented it.

You should check out the latest issue of backwoods magazine Doug, they've got an article about sinew backed bows.

43 pages later... and I am done typing and am working on a printer issue.

So... believe it or not, this sentence is in the actual document... "In my mind's eye, I perceive that in the process of analyzing the patterns and comparing and contrasting my current teaching styles with those of my past and predicted future after this course, I engaged in possibility thinking while working on consensus building in the midst of teaming with others in order to prioritize the ideas to forecast the negotiations while drawing inferences about strategizing, role-playing pirates."

I'll let you figure it out. But one more day or sitting in the class. It hasn't been that bad because the instructor has been breaking things up a lot and has been giving more breaks than we were told in advance. I should be out by 2 and then I will just have to wait for grades and transcripts and can renew my license for another 5 years. That is assuming I don't fail the class due to the above sentence.

 

After roughly 4 hours of sleep I did the morning routine and sat down to make some changes to my papers. In the process, I forgot to put a filter in the coffee press. Yeah... I still have coffee grounds in my teeth...

 

Watched a disappointing and weird one last night- The Quiet Earth. A post-apocalyptic 80s movie. Had a lot of promise, but bungled it. I'd have enjoyed Underworld more.

Ooh. Run on! "Role playing pirates" is the icing on the cake, though. Makes sifting through the rest worthwhile.

Seriously, it sounds like some of the academic theology I've read in the past. But that material wasn't as good because it didn't mention "role playing pirates."

Oof. I'm there with you in sleep deprivation-land. Coffee is my constant and semi-faithful companion.

Ahhh.... it is done... the class is done, the portfolio is turned in. I am now sitting here at home, eating a BBQ sandwich and drinking a beer and kicking back until wife gets home.

 

that, my friend, is product invention genius. I might have to pull a Garfunkel on you (or Wozniak if you prefer) and use you to get all rich and famous.

Ah. Good to hear. Hope you get a chance to sleep some.

And my sucktastic day is over as well. My parents arrived and promptly commandeered the grandkids, thus allowing me the time to take a nap. The man who invented napping (and I am positive it was a man) deserves to be canonized.

Absolutely no contest. Pirates trump ninjas, but the guy you need to watch for is the one who mentions Robot Vikings.

Most of the tooth is now a filling. Still needs a crown. I'm looking at around $10,000 worth of work needing to be done on my mouth. Problem is, before I can move on to the next thing on the list, another tooth gets worse. I'm seriously thinking of finding a dentist who will just pull them all and give me a full set of dentures and be done with it.
