Just tied into it with the big man in front of company. I'm down to the wire, got 900 irons in the fire, and can't get a damned thing done because every time I sit down to tackle one problem, I get interrupted to jump on another "priority" problem. Half the problems I'm wrestling with are because everyone is rushing around trying to get everything done, and they're half-azzing things. I've got the XEROX guys here making the copier work because it got damaged in a rush moving job, and as I'm standing in front of them, Bossman comes in and tries to intimidate me about not getting one specific computer joined to the domain and that user needing to get some report filed before a deadline. I just jumped right back in his face and said, "Yes, I know. I've been trying all week to get to it, but I had to stop and fix Bluebear, and stop and move a copier, and stop and work on a copier, and-and-and!"

"He just said, well know that it's a priority." and walked away.

I'm sick of being bullied. I had just finished dealing with his bulldog (jim, doug, you know who I'm talking about), about her computer not being on the domain yet. I told her, "As soon as I join you to the domain, you can't print your board books that you were jumping up and down about having to finish, yesterday." Which, by the way, if we hadn't been in such a rush, the copier wouldn't have gotten broken. :mad:

dang dude....sounds like a little bit of "the hurricane" rubbed off on them?
wow, that really kinda sucketh butt. but just keep persistent, you can only do one thing at a time - maybe show him the list of things you have going on and ask him to prioritize it?

This has been a craptacular week, aside from getting my beautiful bow. I've got to get those pictures pulled off the camera so I can share. Be patient Doug, maybe later this evening, I'll get them downloaded, uploaded, and sent.

Right now I just need some "cool down" time... frustration is getting the better of me. I might go outside with the machete and take it out on some weeds.

Or maybe I'll just go troll 4chan or reddit or something.

Yeah, it's a real beaut, hand-crafted by Cedar Lodge Archery! It's got a cedar handle and purple heart accents on the tips. Pics forthcoming. Right now, I'm in movie watching mode, trying to shuffle off some of the stress of the week. Just finished "Shine." That movie is like the blues in movie form, it really tugs at my emotions. Next up: Butterflies are Free.

Trying to be a good boy last night and decided there was no time like the present to start the arduous road to a good habit of flossing regularly. Doc told me I had to start flossing more and so I'm trying to improve. Do the top teeth, minimal blood, good deal. Start on the bottom at the back on the side opposite the tooth I just had fixed... slip the floss in, move it around a bit, pull it out, spit out a little blood... not too bad. Move forward a tooth. Slip the floss in, move it around a bit, pull it out, spit out filling...wait...What? See spoiler.

 

oh man that sucks royally....that crap ALWAYS happens on the weekend, don't it?

 

Yeah, and when you don't have any money, either. Which at my household, is pretty much always.
