Same here, Gary, but we tease each other a bit on our purchases. And on most everything else. ;)

My Bride recently found a new chef's knife she wanted, and I talked her into getting a nicer one. She was on the fence about a new pair of shoes recently, and I ordered them for her. Likewise, she's "all in" when I supply our friends 'round here with shaving goodies.

We save our fights for the big stuff...like who ate all the ice cream???

IMO, it depends on blade chatter. That's a lot of unsupported exposure for a thin DE blade. I can run through the engineering calculations if needed. Check with @clint64 on tax deductibility since it may classify as a modified manufacturing asset and may be subject to accelerated depreciation.

    Shave Soap & Aftershave

Happy Hump Day everyone. The WSP Fresh Vetiver is a gift from the ladies of the house. I really like the fresh green scent and the soap just flat works. Three passes and touch ups had the baby in range. My nemesis, aka lower right neck, was already smooth. The loan holdout was the point of the chin and just below. So after reapplying lather, I buffed that area smooth while keeping the pressure in check. The little guy is now safely tucked away. A splash of WSP Fresh Vetiver aftershave and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

I was up till midnight watching the circus hoping Clint would get the votes counted but he must have went to bed before me. :(

Awesome shave this morning with the Gunmetal Rockwell 6C @ plate 6. The Astra blade and Rocky did an excellent job. The Fine L'Orange Noir was in Primo territory. Actually, it was so glossy and thick this morning I thought he had actually whipped it up for me. The L'Orange Noir was PIFed to me by Clint and was my introduction to Fine soaps. The Greydog turned brush is a little lather monster.

Finished this awesome shave off with a few squirts of American Tobacco by Andy Hilfiger.

Hopefully by the end of the day we will know who the new emperor is.

    Y'all have a great humpday!
